提坦卡尔·罗伊（Tirthankar Roy）是英国伦敦政治经济学院经济历史学教授。他出版了大量关于现代南亚经济史的著作，并著有《从古至今世界经济中的印度》（India in the World Economy from Antiquity to the Present，2012年）、《1857-1947印度经济史》（The Economic History of India 1857-1947，2012年）和《近代早期印度经济史》（An Economic History of Early Modern India，2013年）。

乔吉奥·列略（Giorgio Riello）是英国华威大学全球历史和文化学教授。他撰写以及编辑了多部关于早期现代欧洲和亚洲历史的著作，包括《纺纱世界》（The Spinning World，2009年）、《印度如何装扮世界》（How India Clothed the World，与提坦卡尔·罗伊合著，2009年）、《书写物质文化史》（Writing Material Culture History，2014年）和《棉花：成就现代世界的布料》（Cotton: The Fabric that Made the Modern World，2013年）。
