约翰·拉普利（John Rapley），剑桥大学政治经济学家，约翰内斯堡高级研究所的高级研究员。他的著作包括《理解发展》（Understanding Development），该书仍是发展研究领域的广泛使用教材，以及《全球化与不平等》（Globalization and Inequality）和最近的《金钱神祇的黄昏：经济学作为一种宗教及其如何走向失败》（Twilight of the Money Gods: Economics as a Religion and How it all Went Wrong）。
