卡米拉·汤森（Camilla Townsend）是罗格斯大学历史学教授，著有多部关于墨西哥原住民学术著作，如Malintzin's Choices: An Indian Woman in the Conquest of Mexico、Pocahontas and the Powhatan Dilemma、The Annals of Native America: How the Nahuas of Colonial Mexico Kept Their History Alive，后一本书获得了多个奖项，包括美国历史协会的贝弗里奇奖。她凭借《第五太阳纪：阿兹特克人新史》（Fifth Sun: A New History of the Aztecs）获得了2020年的坎迪尔历史奖。
