Lisa Williamson's The Art of Being Normal won in the best older fiction category at last night’s Waterstones Children’s Book Awards ceremony.
THE ART OF BEING NORMAL, Lisa’s debut novel, was partly inspired by a temporary job at the famous Tavistock Clinic, working with children and young adults going through difficulties with their gender identity.
