Back with an update: this afternoon Eric Simonoff accepted a preempt from GCP/Hachette for THE ANTISOCIAL NETWORK. Ben has all the major players from this story on board and we’re expecting a quick turnaround on the manuscript and will have full material in 3-4 months.
It will be fast publication, written alongside the film, and aims to be the definitive real-life thriller about four days that changed everything and shook the bedrock of an industry to its core. Financial markets may never operate the same way again and though the tools of the elite may be in the hands of an army of ragtag online investors, an ominous sense remains and recalls the old gambling adage: the house never really loses.
